Born in Bristol in 1973, Mark Dudbridge made his TV debut in 2002 and has enjoyed great runs in several major tournaments over the last few years. His TV debut was in fact at the 2002 BDO World Masters, a tournament that 'Flash' won as he announced his arrival on the darts scene in the best possible fashion.
Later in 2002 Mark made the switch to the PDC and quickly set about proving that he belonged amongst the finest players in the world, winning a 2003 UK Open Regional Final, though he did crash out to Cliff Lazarenko in the 3rd round of the finals in Bolton.
Mark once again fell in the 3rd round a year later as he lost out to eventual winner Roland Scholten, whilst disappointing exits in the 4th and 3rd rounds followed in 2005 and 2006. Whilst his UK Open record has been poor, Dudbridge has really made his mark on other televised tournaments, reaching the finals of both the 2004 World Matchplay and 2005 World Championship, playing great darts along the way.
